Find Your Perfect Nail Size
Follow our step-by-step guide to measure your nails accurately and find the perfect fit for your press-on nails.
Get a ruler or measuring tape
Use a ruler with millimeter markings for the most accurate measurement.
Position the ruler
Place the ruler horizontally across your nail at the widest point, typically at the cuticle area.
Record the measurement
Note the width in millimeters for each nail. Repeat for all 10 nails as sizes can vary.
Cut a small piece of tape
Use clear tape or masking tape, about 1 inch long.
Place tape across nail
Position the tape horizontally across the widest part of your nail and mark the edges with a pen.
Measure the tape
Remove the tape and measure the distance between your marks with a ruler.
Get a piece of string
Use thread, dental floss, or thin string that won't stretch.
Wrap around nail
Place the string across the widest part of your nail and mark where it meets on both sides.
Measure the string
Lay the string flat and measure the distance between your marks with a ruler.

Important Sizing Tip
If you're between two sizes, always choose the larger size for a comfortable fit and easier application.
Pro Tips for Accurate Measurements
- Measure at the widest point of your nail, usually near the cuticle
- Measure each nail individually as sizes can vary between fingers
- When in doubt between sizes, always size up for comfort
- Measure in good lighting for the most accurate results
- Consider nail shape - wider nails may need a larger size
- A slightly larger nail can be filed down, but a too-small nail won't fit
